DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\,  \nYou are cordially invited to join the inaugural opening of the Virtual Baha’i Learning Center of the Lehigh Valley on Sunday\, October 11\, from 10 am to 12 noon. This first session will include devotions\, an explanation of the children’s classes and youth group activities\, consultation about a Ruhi Book class for adults & older youth\, and suggestions for a book for adults & older youth to study as a group. \nAfter beginning with a short prayer at 10 am\, Kristen Graham will talk about plans for the children’s class. [Kristen has a previous\, regular devotional she attends that starts at 10:30 am]. \nAfter Kristen\, Linnea and Tommy Padfield will then discuss the junior youth activities. \nFollowing them\, Roseann Bowerman will explain Book 10 Unit 2 “Building Vibrant Communities—Consultation\,” which she has offered to facilitate for those interested. Discussion of a possible book to read as a group will follow. DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\,\nYou are warmly invited!\nWe are finally able to plant and dedicate a tree and plaque in honor of the Bicentenary of Baha’u’llah and the Báb on Friday October 23 at 1 pm at the Bethlehem Rose Garden.\nThe location is between Union Blvd. and 8th Avenue. The park is not so large that we won’t be able to find each other easily. This is a relatively short Ruhi book of 48 pages\, but it is a very powerful and relevant study of this amazing gift of Baha’u’llah to society. “Problems\, challenges\, and opportunities are a part of the human experience. They are used in a way for us to grow and evolve. Consultation is a technique that elevates the quest for solutions to a spiritual level and conditioned on the Will of God as it is understood. Like driving an automobile\, the mechanics of Consultation need to be identified as well as practiced. Like any skill\, the proficiency is accomplished by doing.” \nPrint copies of this Ruhi book are on their way to Phil Dunmire.
