DESCRIPTION:Hi dear friends\,\n\nAs some of you know ‘Abdu’l-Baha visited Greytowers in the Poconos in Milford PA on June 3\, 1912.  Coincidently\, Greytowers is having a nice event on that same day this year (No connection).  Its a free picnic on the grounds with various 19th century crafts being demonstrated and music.  They suggest that you RSVP if you are coming. There will be a falconry exhibit and flight demonstrations! We will also be offering old-fashioned children’s games\, watercolor painting lessons\, and home movies of Pinchot lawn parties of the past. \nCotton candy\, ices\, and popcorn as well as brown bag lunches will be available to purchase. \nThis event is free but please register your interest in attending below so we can be prepared for all of you.\nAdditionally\, TEA with the PINCHOTS tickets are available for purchase\, for special mansion tours between 12-2 pm where you will be met by the Pinchot family and their guests (actors) and enjoy light refreshments!

DESCRIPTION:The Local Spiritual Assembly of Bethlehem Township met recently and consulted about the upcoming gathering for young adults\, ages 15-25\, to be held at Little Pond\, on July 14-16.  Obviously\, such an event will require much preparation to be done prior to the event. The Assembly members believe this is a unique opportunity to offer service for this most worthy endeavor. \nBill and Bridget George have made a checklist of tasks that need to be accomplished.  Most of the tasks involve cleaning projects. The Assembly consulted with Bill and Bridget and have come up with the date of Saturday\, July 8\, to get together for a joyful day of work at Little Pond.  We will begin at 10 am and go throughout the day.  Friends do not have to stay for the entire day and may come for as many hours they can spare.  If we are not able to finish everything on Saturday\, those who are available will return to Little Pond to finish the tasks on Sunday\, July 9.  Of course\, the more people we have the faster the work will go\, so please feel free to invite others to join.  \nThis is an excellent opportunity for all of us to help make Little Pond ready for this very special gathering\, where the youth will “Explore an individual’s twofold moral purpose: to take charge of their own intellectual and spiritual growth and to contribute to the transformation of society.”  \nPlease contact Bridget George\, if you plan to attend\, so that we will have an idea of how many people will be coming. \nEmail: bridgetgeorge9@gmail.com \nCell phone: 610.570.1336 \nOf course\, you may just show up on the day!  \nWith warmest regards\, \nThe members of the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Bethlehem Township

We need at least ten youth–not junior youth. They do not need to be Baha’is or even know anything about the Baha’i Faith. (In fact they probably will not be Baha’is.) This is a challenge\, and we’re taking it head on; let us rise to it\, as this will help us grow\, advance the Cause at our weakest point; but we can only accomplish it if we all work together to raise up attendees. Our unified effort will be unquestionably blessed by Baha’u’llah; of that there is no doubt. Think of youth that you know\, youth that a friend knows\, youth that you don’t know well but might be interested! Anyone that comes to mind as possibly interested–find a way to diplomatically ask them and pass along the information.
