Penn Dixie Rd.\, Nazareth PA \nfor a special Peace Concert by Nora Suggs and Marilyn Hazleton\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSacred texts and prayers for hope and peace in the New Year\nwill introduce a one-hour program of solo shakuhachi (Japanese flute) music by Nora alternating with tanka (a Japanese form of poetry in English) by Marilyn\, and tanka recited over gentle shakuhachi music structured around the four seasons\, in a visual framework of children’s art and beautiful images of nature.After the program we will all have an opportunity for conversation\, a discussion and sharing of our thoughts\, and light refreshments.\nWe look forward to welcoming you to this gathering\nin the Great Room of the Long Barn at Little Pond.Bridget\, Bill\, Nora and MarilynDirections are on our website and it helps us to know\nif you are coming.
