DESCRIPTION:Our next Youth Retreat at Little Pond will be a One-Day Retreat on Saturday October 14\, starting at 10am and including lunch and dinner.\n\n\n\n\nDorothy Walline will be the main facilitator and we are hoping to involve some youth leadership to assist her. Layli Graham\, who did the Summer of Service training this year has already committed to being with us.\n\n\n\nAs we mentioned at the last Feast\, the Planning Committee for our Little Pond Youth Retreats is happy to announce that we are \nfollowing up on the successful July Weekend Retreat\, in which seven youth completed Ruhi Institute Book 1\, with a \nOne Day Retreat at Little Pond on Saturday October 14\, 9:30am – 9:30pm.  The Retreat is facilitated by Dorothy Walline\, \nassisted by 17 year-old Eddie Davis\, who was an enthusiastic participant in our July Retreat. We are also delighted that\nLayli Graham\,\, 16 years old\, who completed her Summer of Service training in Boston and Philadelphia this past summer\nwill be attending the October Retreat.\n\nPLEASE FORWARD THE ATTACHED PDF FLYER with a personal message to any youth who might be interested in coming\nto the Retreat and bringing friends. In your message\, you can also include this link to the Retreat information on the Little Pond\nWebsite. Life’s Springtime (littlepond.org) \n \n“The October 14 Retreat is designed to interest Youth ages 15-25 in the needs and potential of Junior Youth and the possibility of\nbecoming Junior Youth Animators. The study Sessions that are part of the One-Day Retreat will focus on a few sections of \nRuhi Institute Book 5. These sections focus on deepening the capacities and releasing the powers of Junior Youth during the \n“Springtime of human life.”  As in the July Retreat\, Study Sessions will be interwoven with times of fellowship and opportunities \nfor the youth to engage with the arts\, nature\, and their own creation of Devotionals.”\n \nMany thanks for helping with this significant endeavor as\, together\, we build our beloved Baha’i Community.\n \nBill and Bridget George\, Houman Ahdieh\, Shirin Khalighi and Roseann Bowerman
