DESCRIPTION:To the Baha’is of the Northeast region \nDear Friends\, \nPlease see the invitation offered below by the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Amherst\, NY to the Baha’is of the Northeast region to join a reading in English or Persian of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Baha. \nWith loving regards\, \nRegional Baha’i Council of the Northeastern State \nMarie McNair\, Secretary  \n +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ \nDear friends\,  \nThe Amherst Town\, NY Bahá’í community is continuing its activities related to the Centenary year of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá into 2022.  January 3\, 2022 marks the centenary of the first reading of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá that Shoghi Effendi refers to in “God Passes By” as\, “… the offspring resulting from the mystic intercourse between Him Who is the Source of the Law of God and the mind of the One Who is the vehicle and interpreter of that Law”.  In honor of this occasion\, Dr. Iskandar Hai will be holding a 2-session reading of the Will and Testament in English\, and a similar session in Persian during January.  All the friends in the Northeast Region are lovingly invited to join in this reading.   \nThe schedule for the readings will be as follows: \nEnglish – 2 January\, and 16 January 2022 from 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.  \nPersian – 9 January and 23 January 2022 from 3:45 – 5:30 p.m. \nDirect zoom link was emailed to the friends by Marie McNair \nYou may download a copy of the Will and Testament in English from Bahai.org  by following this link https://www.bahai.org/library/authoritative-texts/abdul-baha/will-testament-abdul-baha/1#442633768.  In addition\, copies of the Will and Testament in both English and Persian are attached to this message.  \nWe hope you will be able to join us for the reading of the “Charter of Bahâ’u’lláh’s New World Order. \nLoving greetings\, \nSpiritual Assembly of Amherst Town
