DESCRIPTION:Henry & Laura Lawrence invite you to a Zoom meeting for the observation of the  Ascension of Abdul Baha.  The zoom link was directly emailed to the friends.   Contact: 610 868 5604. \n\n\n\n\n \n\nINVITATIONs FOR YOU \n The Baháʼís of Bethlehem warmly invites you to TWO up-coming events:\nFirst\, A Baháʼí  Holy Day:  The 100th Anniversary of the Ascension of ʻAbdu’l-Bahá \n  (the Son of the Prophet-Founder of the Baháʼí Faith) 1844-1921 \n12:30 AM  November 27th (very early Saturday morning)\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\nʻAbdu’l-Bahá \nʻAbbás Effendi was Baháʼu’lláh’s eldest Son\, known by the title of ʻAbdu’l-Bahá (Servant of Bahá). His Father left a will that appointed ʻAbdu’l-Bahá as the leader of the Baháʼí community\, and designated him as the “Centre of the Covenant”\, “Head of the Faith”\, and the sole authoritative interpreter of Baháʼu’lláh’s writings. ʻAbdu’l-Bahá had shared His Father’s long exile (1852 – 1892) and imprisonment\, which continued until ʻAbdu’l-Bahá’s own release as a result of the Young Turk Revolution. Following His release He led a life of travelling\, speaking\, teaching\, and maintaining correspondence with communities of believers and individuals\, expounding the principles of the Baháʼí Faith
