Dear Baha’i friends,
This is a very special invitation from the Lehigh Dialogue Center and our lovely friend Hafsa Turkyolu, who is partnering with Laura Lawrence and myself in organizing this Ramadan/Iftar dinner event just for the Lehigh Valley Baha’i and Muslim Communities. The event is on Friday March 6, 5:15pm at the Lehigh Dialogue Center 1500 Linden St. Bethlehem. Lehigh Dialogue Center is providing the food and Laura and I will bring drinks. Since the Muslim and Baha’i communities are both fasting during this season—albeit in our own traditions—we thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to come together! Lehigh Dialogue Center has invited us to a casual, friendly evening to get to know one another better. We’ll share who we are, get to know what Ramadan and the Baha’i Fast are about, including reading a Baha’i Fast prayer, and break bread together. Plus, we’ll have icebreakers and a fun raffle! We’d love for you to join us—come, share the evening, and let’s build bridges over a meal.
