The martyrdom of the Báb is observed by the Baháʼí Faith at noon on July 9th (or July 10th, as the Baháʼí calendar date can vary slightly). This commemorates the date of his execution in Persia, which is considered a holy day of rest. Baha’is read special prayers at noon to commemorate this event.
